Queens

The queen is by far the most powerful piece. It is worth the equivalent of nine pawns, (two knights and a bishop) and has incredible mobility. The queen can move vertically, horizontally, or diagonally as far as it wants in any direction. They cannot, however, jump over pieces (knights are the only piece that can do this). Their method of capturing enemy pieces is to simply move onto the square that the enemy unit occupies. A diagram showing the queen's power is located below.
